Description
The Emlid Reach RS3 Multiband RTK GNSS Receiver with tilt compensation is a state-of-the-art GNSS receiver that delivers survey-grade precision, even in hard-to-reach locations. The RS3 features multiband RTK with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS, ensuring reliable performance anywhere. With 4G/LTE, LoRa, and an impressive 30-hour battery life, the RS3 is built for the most demanding survey tasks.
Features:
Multi-Band Base and Rover
IMU Tilt Compensation
LTE Modem
Dual-Band Radio
Emlid Flow App Included
High-Precision IMU | Tilt: RTK+2mm+0.3mm/°
Survey with Under 20mm Precision – Even at a 60° Tilt. It is calibration-free and ready to use straight out of the box. Unlike magnetically influenced tilt sensors, the RS3 is immune to magnetic interference, ensuring accuracy even around metal objects and electronics.
Get a Fix in Just 5 Seconds
The RS3 achieves centimetre-level accuracy in ~5 seconds and maintains robust performance even in partially obstructed environments or when the unit is tilted. It tracks signals from GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo.
18 Hours of Work with Tilt Compensation
The industrial-grade battery can withstand up to 22 hours of logging or 18 hours of operation as an RTK rover with tilt compensation. For uninterrupted multi-day use, simply connect a power bank via USB-C.
RINEX Logging and PPP Support
Reach RS3 records raw data in the RINEX format for post-processing. Use our free PPK software, Emlid Studio, or any other software with RINEX support. Logs are also compatible with OPUS, AUSPOS, and PPP services.
Built-in LTE Modem
Insert a SIM card into the Reach RS3 and allow it to broadcast or receive corrections via NTRIP.
Rugged and Compact Design
The polycarbonate body, coated with elastomer, makes the Reach RS3 impact-resistant and ready for harsh conditions. The receiver is dustproof and waterproof to IP67 standards, with an operating temperature range of -20° to 65°C (-4° to 149°F). The Reach RS3 Li-Ion battery is designed to withstand high and low temperatures and endures over 2,000 charge and discharge cycles while maintaining its original capacity.
Get Corrections from CORS, Reach, or Third-Party Base
NTRIP: Work in RTK mode with VRS or a single baseline CORS network. You can also connect another GNSS receiver with RTCM3 support using the Emlid NTRIP Caster.
Dual-Band Radio Options:
- LoRa: 868/915MHz – Sends or receives corrections between two Reach receivers, perfect for areas with no internet coverage.
- UHF Radio: 450MHz – Receives corrections from bases equipped with radios transmitting TRIMTALK™ 450S, an excellent option for integrating different receivers within your fleet.
